Stiff Swinging Kick -

We were doing the stiff swinging kick in class and we were told to bring are leg down faster, to protect the groin and not leaving it so exposed. Sort of like a kick. And I never really thought of it as a kick, normally just a stretch we did. But I think it depends on your intent behind the kick. Like if you thinking about it sort of like an ax-kick then you would come down faster and stronger. So it really just depends on what your thinking about or your intent behind the kick.

Hoops -

Am I just jumping through hoops? Yes and No. For one I am just jumping through a hoop for my personal requmerment, to do Hebrew for 15 minutes a day. I have been just sort of getting it over with and not being per say mindful about it. I normally forget to do it and it's just a "I have to do this before I can go to sleep" or "I have to do it before I can do something else."  Which is not good. I feel like you learn more and get more out of something when you mindful and thinking about the things you are doing well actually doing them. But at the same time there are days when I am really mindful about learning hebrew. And I do end up doing a longer lesson but this should be happening all the time not just on certain days or times.

Running -

Running. Running is a word.  Running is what brings us together today.  I don't really like running that much. But it feels good, like an achievement when you finishing running a certain amount. This week I have started running more. I did running for one minutes walking for the next, than running again, and so on for 20 minutes. It was a good feeling after I ran. So even though I don't really like running it was pretty nice.

Dragon and Lion Dancing-

The last week in class we have been doing lion dancing. Lion dancing is really fun, I like how it's something different and it's just a cool thing to learn. I think my favorite part of the dance is probably the wave. It looks cool and you sort of get a break of being in a horstans which is nice. You also get to move the eyes and ears which makes the dance look 100 times cooler. But if i'm being honest I personally like doing the dragon dance better. I think it's a bit easier in its own way, you just have to follow the person in front of you. The only thing that I find challenging when doing the dragon dance is probably being able to switch your hands from one side of the pole. But ones you get the hang of switching your hands everything else I think is pretty straightforward. I am really excited to participate in the dragon dance hopefully.
