Boot-Camp

Boot-camp was really fun and I learned and did some pretty cool stuff. In the morning we started off doing some meditation, which was sort of hard for me because I don't like to sit still. The meditation was good to do because I rarely ever do anything like it, even in forms I prefer the faster ones but it was still good and I should probably start doing it more often even if its not for that long.

Then we moved on to wrist escapes, my Favorited thing to do. Most of the wrist escapes that we learnt weren't new but a few of them were. We also did lion drumming which was pretty fun. I did not play on the bigger drum but I got to play on one of the smaller ones, it sounded pretty good I think. During lunch we had some people talk about leadership and how to be a better leader, lots to think about after.

Probably my favorite thing we did all day was the fight chorography. Even if it did not look the best it was still really fun, trying to figure out what to do.

Fitness was for sure the hardest, there were fun parts that I did better in and then some harder parts. My kicks were probably one of the worst things, my legs were hurting from the day before because I did a run which ended up in me pulling something in my hip. But over all the fitness was really fun, pushing myself to the limit.

The last thing we did to finish of the day was a 2k run. This was hard because of my legs/hip were already hurting so I ended up walking more then I wanted to, but at least I did not walk the whole way. I had certain places that I would force myself to run, like from this corner to the next one. And places where I could walk so I did not hurt my legs more. I was still sore after for a few days but it was worth it and hoping to do it all over next time as well. Over all I had a great time, and it was a really fun day.
