The little acts
These last few months I have been drifting from Kung fu.. It has just been feeling like another burden. But last Tuesday I was doing a form in black belt class, and wow. Like there were parts of the form which I new needed work but overall I just felt so cool. Like all the love for Kung fu came back. And just makes me want to practice and ask questions and work on things all over again.
Even through drifting from Kung fu, I have still been able to find little things to keep me engaged! Like for example when I see a certain black belt I will do 10 knuckle push-ups with him, and even though it’s just 10 it always keeps me going. And well doing these push-ups I have been working on my form and how I’m actually doing push-ups. Trying to analyze and figure out how to do them without popping out my elbow. As well another person from the team and I do 10 push-ups on the days I go into school(Monday, Tuesday, and Friday). This one has been a bit harder to keep up with but I am still doing them and working towards doing more and more.
Just these small acts have made staying connected easier. And have made Kung fu more enjoyable and things to look forward too. I plan to get back on the grind of blogging and working on my forms here and there.
