Tai chi -
This week I went to tai chi for the first time in a while and I haven't realized how much I have missed it. Tai chi ties so much into my other training and helps me develop an understanding of flow and centering so much. Last class one of the things I was working on was a move that I was trying to figure out whether I was suppose to turn then sink or was I not meant to be sinking. After asking the question and talking it through I realized it's not necessarily one or the other. It was more of a corkscrew. Corkscrews come up in my training a lot because I think it sort of ties your upper bodys flow with your lower body. Throughout tai chi I have gotten a lot better and aware of where my center is and how I move it. I have been able to bring that to my other training, as they are all connected.
