Sparring

This weekend I went to open training and it was really good! I feel like I got a lot of progress done. I practiced my spear form and I began to over think one of the moves but I ended up getting clarification and then just decided to let it be for a bit and practiced the other moves. as well as that I also practiced some of my other forms which was really good because I needed a little refresher, that included tai chi as I have missed the last few classes as school diplomas are coming up and I had to study. I also practiced some lion dancing stacks which was good as we plan to put them into the banquet dance. But finally and something that made my weekend was I got to spare which was really fun and I learned a lot and just generally think I am getting better at it. One of the sparring matches we had agreed to do NO legs which was a bit of a challenge as kicking is one of my main defences. So this was really good and forced me to work on something that I normally shy away from.
