the ones we appreciate
This week was pretty rough on me mentally, and took a lot of effort to do the simplest things. I constantly doubted what I was doing, and why I was even doing things. Well feeling really bad one of my friends who was also going through something reached out and started texting me. This REALLY help as it was someone outside of my family that knew what was going on and helped reassure me that it was not all my fault. As well as just reassure how much of a caring friend they are and how much they actually mean to me. Talking to them started to help pull me out of my slump. We were talking about being grateful yesterday in class(or that's one of the things I interpreted). This is one of my things. My friend(not going to put their name), they mean so much to me. I think everyone needs someone who will support them regardless. Help them when they are down but also being able to help push them. My friend knows I do kung fu and supports everytime I decide to go. I know a lot of people when asked what they are grateful for say "friends/family" but why not think deeper. Think of why your grateful for someone and then express how much they mean to you. I'm going to try and keep this in front of me for the next while, just thinking about the people who care about me and who I care about. As I often forget to appreciate the ones I love the most.
