Training progression

Last weekend I went to open training. And well there was not many people there I found it really helpful! I mostly worked on my katana form. I went over it with Sifu Hayes; going move by move. It was just small tweaks that made a HUGE difference. We also went over things I was struggling with in the form which made me feel a LOT better about how I am doing them. Like keeping my elbow up, dropping my shoulder, and going faster in different moves etc. So now I have guide of what I need to work on. 
Last week I also went over snake with Sifu Rybak which helped me get a direction to go in. Both my forms (in my opinion) seem to be improving the way I am wanting them to. I find getting help from others helps me improve a lot quicker but I am always scared to get help.. But when I finally do, it helps me immensely.
