lion dancing

Saying I don't know what to blog about has always been the easier thing to say. But I feel like I mean it in a different way? Like I am constantly thinking about kung fu and aspects of it. I just don't really know how to put it into words? Like from my head into words is something I have struggled with. But I am going to give it a try...

For lion dancing, I have been trying to crisp up my moves. Specifically the wave in the dance. I imagen when I'm doing the lower parts of the wave that I'm hiding, like I'm small and condensed and like I'm waiting to attack? Like I'm not trying to shy away, I'm trying to to make the tall parts more threatening? So into the tall parts, I try to reach up as high as I can and then pause there for a second sort of. Asserting my dominance, letting people know I am here and strong? The wave is one of my favorite moves in lion dancing. As I feel like if you do it right(for your lion) then it helps show what kind of lion you are. I don't know if this is all over the place or if it is good... But ya.

I know I still need work on my lion dancing and the wave and it makes me excited! Because there is so much I can still learn and so much more things I can work on. I'm trying to get more comfortable with blogging and saying what's on my mind.
