Routine -

I have not blogged in a while but I have been doing quite well. I have kept up with my routine for most of the summer. I did not really get in to a routine until a few week in to July. I am a bit nerves when I go back to school because my workouts are going to move into the afternoon instead of in the mornings. Which is going to be a bit tough but I just got to make sure I keep working at it.

Stuff -

I have been doing good with my push-ups and sit-ups but guess not really good with my other requirements, like my forms. Although with my weapon form I have changed where I start the 15 and 30 second marks, instead of starting at the beginning like I used to do. So now it will be more interesting!! On a different topic I have been doing the push-up challenge, which is actually I think the first challenge I have done. Which does not sound that good but anyways... This challenge has been I guess sort of exciting to see how this turns out. Some days are harder then others but I don't feel like I have to do them its more of I want to do it, which sounds weird. But then its more motivating to do other things which is good!

Stances -

Over this week I have been thinking more about my stance. My stances are normally too high, and to fix this I have to lower my centre. This sounds cheesy but it's like you have to feel grounded and sort of attached to the ground instead of just standing on top of it. So you need to sink into the ground. I needed to make my stances (bo-stance) wider as well. For my horse-stance I have to push my knee's out, so they are not coming inwards. Going to keep working on it because it will probably take a will to work in!!

Routine -

This week has been quite a good week. I have had a pretty good routine for my requirements (push-ups and sit-ups) for the last two weeks. I think when I have a good routine it puts me in a whole different, better mood than when I don't have one. So I have been feeling pretty good about my kung fu. I should of been doing it before but at least I am now and going to keep doing it. It's way better than feeling guilty for not doing it. And I have blogged!!! And will next week as well.

.

I don't really know what to say. I have not blogged in a long time and I think about it a lot, like after I finish one blog it's like "okay, what will I be writing for my next blog," or after class I might be thinking about it as well, but then I never write it. Kung fu has been more stressful for me lately but that's probably just because all the restrictions are lifted so we can do more stuff like sparing, yayyy, so there is more to think about. Well, it was still something to think about but now we are going to actually be doing it in class.

Last Week-

This week has been sort of stressful for me. Mostly because I’ve had all but one of my final exams for school, I still have one more next week. It has also been stressful because one of my closest friends is moving this coming week, she is not moving that far but it will still be like an hour-ish away so it will be harder to make plans to hangout...       One of the things that made me feel better was actually going into Kung Fu classes in the Kwoon. Doing Kung fu has just always put me in a better mood personally. Although I did not think we were going to do as high intensity. I thought we were going to start off slow and make our way up to high intensity. So that was quite shocking at first, but it was really nice to be back at the Kwoon.

Commitment-

I have not really been doing my requirements, well I have been doing personal requirements. Just not like my push-ups, sit-ups and forms. I do them for a bit and then just fall back out of not doing them. It’s the same with blogging, I was planning to write this blog a while ago and just never did. I have to follow through with what I say and not just push it off to the side. I have to ac tually commit to what I'm saying.         Even though I am not doing so well in the requirements, I am doing well in my personal ones. One of them is learning Hebrew and I have a streak of 23 days which doesn't seem like a long time but I think I am doing good with it.
